Spider is settled by the fire, looking concerned and rather annoyed.

Axl pauses in his pacing the circumference of the raised ground leading to the Candle, arms locked casually behind his head. He glances to Spider, possibly less concerned than he should be. "-You- look pleased."

Spider sighs. "...Did I ever tell you about a little device I managed to invent a while ago?"

Axl lowers his hands, resting them instead on his hips, possibly a -bit- intrigued. "Don't think so, why?"

Spider says '...It let me set some -very- interesting coordnates for teleportation devices. Coordnates that shouldn't exist.'

"Really, now?" Axl then rests his arms on top of the raised ground, peering up at Spider quizzically. "Coordinates like what?"

Spider says '...Coordinates of places in the Cleft, apparently.'

Axl actually manage to look genuinely interested now. "Is that so...? That doesn't sound -so- bad, is there something else wrong with it?"

Spider says 'Well, let's just say that I used it a -lot-. It's pretty easy to hijack a teleporter before a meeting or make sure that a certain blue-armored Hunter never reaches his next mission... And Signas is starting to realize that all these people showing up'

Axl stands completely still for exactly ten seconds, a look of utter shock overcoming his usually placid expression. /...It was... it was -him-?!/ He soon shakes it off, returning to his usual scheming grin. "That -is- a problem..."

Spider says 'I tried to do away with him using the Copy Chip, but he called the troops out before I could finish it...'

Axl rests his chin on his folded hands thoughtfully. "Then he knows you're plotting against him. That won't do, not at all..."

Spider says 'Oh, no, he thinks it was an assassin sent by the Koopas.'

Axl shrugs listlessly, fully standing again. "In any case, try to be a little more subtle about it. You can't underestimate Signas, if what my dear brother knows is any indication..."

Axl sighs and heads back towards another part of the Canyon, waving idly. "We'll deal with it later. I need my beauty sleep."

Spider looks annoyed. "Yeah, yeah, I know." He nods to the comment about sleep and lays back himself...
