The miniscule presence atop your head seems to settle itself down after a moment, taking a short time to, apparently, make itself comfortable.

Variance straightens a little, actually trying to look at the top of his head before realizing he can't and settling down again. They always seemed to catch him unexpectedly... A short smile surfaces at the thought, and he simply allows his company to rest.

The presence continues fidgeting about for a moment before finally becoming still, a familiar, tiny female voice accompanying it. "We watch for long time. Glad no see bad things happen while Aura gone."

"We see Seikou, though, in sanctuary! Very strange to us, see reploid make wish to Goddess. Normal?"

Variance seems a little startled by the notion at first, but remembers the bond between Seikou and Aura and relaxes, nodding sagely(and softly). "It is a bit out of practice for him..."

You say 'But considering how he's been lately, I'm not all that surprised.'

Another fidget. "Weird, weird. We know distinct power of love, 'cause coincide with mana energy. But bond for person to person, not sink in easy for us. We think, Seikou maybe see Aura soon, but we no can promise yet."

"Seikou ask wish from Goddess, but Aura following own footsteps, out of Goddess control. No can just pick up off feet, deposit from home."

Variance shifts a little, seeming to try to become more comfortable himself, expression changing to thoughtful neutrality. "Makes enough sense. I, myself, would like to see Aura return safely..."

You say 'Though it's as you said; it's all up to her now.'

"We do our part. We not want tell outright at first, but we almost have no choice, show Aura where origin begins. Deserve to know, not spend all life wondering. Now wonder, anyone recognize when see again. Lots change, now."

"Aura go through lots, lots. We admit, lots more than we first expect. Even -we- not know what happen, now." She sounds a little worried, but possibly more of general concern than actual fear.

Variance spends another moment in compliance before more thoughts rush to the forefront of his mind, one of them forward enough to require voicing. "Change... how much change do you mean?"

A bit of movement, almost irritatedly. "We not know full details. We -do- know what we first thing, actually true. Aura -not- reploid. But now, we wonder if even human, either? Since wake up at home, we feel huge mana.."

".. energy from girl. Almost scary-lots, but since so close to home, own tribe, not so obvious around. We compare, like bottle closed for so long, lots shaken, then open suddenly! Like small explosion."

Variance passes neutrality entirely as he begins truly contemplating what he's been told, arms crossing as a more obvious sign of his doing so. He knew there were plenty other races than humans and reploids, but that didn't sound like anything he'd heard of so far.

Benamas quotes 'Aura fizzy herself steppin' but made no attempt ta hide it, instead sippin' a hand over tha white rose adornment T-H-to-tha-izzat lay at tha heart of tha playa chain around her nizzay.'

"We repeat, not sure what happen now. Aura in Holyland, learn truth about self. Hardest part now, face to face with past. Soon, if not too much to bear, maybe come back, but still changed. Forever changed."

She seems to get to her feet in a rush. "Tree of Mana awake, now. We go, celebrate awakening now. Aura there! We find out all is to know, Aura too. All in final stage. We see again!"

And just like that, the spirit is gone, her presence completely fading from upon your head where she stood only seconds ago.

Variance looks up briefly, then lowers his gaze thoughtfully once more. "Final stage...?"
