As the two armies stood across from each other the tension was
unbearable, the kind that would faulter under a heavy gaze, and would cut
the air as it snapped if even tou ched with the dullest of knives. The
soldiers stood nervously some shaking, others praying, none of them ready
for such a b attle. The minutes passed, for all on both sides they felt li
ke hours, for the most nervous even days. Finally after all t he quiet and
tension the oposing force's General issued orders to the bowmen to prepare
for a volley. They notched arrows in to their bow-strings then pointing at
a 45 degree angle, wait ing for the command to fire. Knowing what was
comming Arven's soldiers set up shields forward in the frontline and above
al l through the rest of the ranks. As the bowmen released mos t arrows
bounced and broke off the metal shields. For any no t fortunate enough to
find cover was a swift oblivion, the arr ow heads tore through their skin
like scissors to paper. No t wasting another moment Arven drew his sword,
pointing it s traight forward he yelled, "CHARGE!!! " Suddenly all fear
was forgotten as Arven's troops swarmed about him, devastati ng the front
ranks of the oposing force. Soldiers then began to fight in a crazed
fashion on both sides, bodies quickly b ecoming nothing more than lifeless
corpses as they hit the g round. As for Arven, he was fairing well, hacking
an slashin g, letting off a parry when needed to avoid injury. Yet as h
kept fighting he came to notice the full force of the enemy , it was enough
to wipe out his force if the fighting was pr olonged. Scanning the
background Arven was looking for one t hing, the Empirial Generals, and if
the King was attending h im as well, without a leader the army would lose
morale and g ive up or lose a great deal of morale. After a vigous round o
f fighting an scanning he found his target, they were all at the rear of the
force. Battling and plotting Arven took quick action, he bashed a h orse
rider from his mount and mounted the horse himself, whi pping the reins it
charged forward, as he went Arven would s lash from side to side, nearing
his target. Finally he saw t hem 4 Generals, and yes he was in luck, the
corrupt king of the Empire of Hyrule, this was his chance to restore the tru
e heirs of the throne to their positions, the time was now.
