Alexia - The orgin of Alexia's golden mace...

As Alexia roams through the forest that the portal dropped her off at,
she comes across some very strong imps. Now her magic wasn't strong, as
it could be, but only over time would it get stronger, they were really
hurting her. As they were about to deal the final blow to her, a
strange old man, smashed one of the imps right in the face, with that
special mace he quickly killed the remaining imps with ease. He carries
Alex to his nearby hut, apparently he was just a wandering monk. After
she came to, he fed her some stew. "I see your getting quite better
miss" He says, Alexia replies "Yes thank you sir, I... haven't
traveled this far before...". Alexia thinks that she probably should
tell him she isn't from his exact dimension, the old man sees this and
just chuckles abit. You really should have a weapon" he says
tossing her a odd handle. "Press that button..yes the one right
there.." he says with abit of amuzement in his tone. Alexia does as
she is told and presses the button, at that time in a flash of light
the mace appears, shimmering and glowing. Alexia is abit stunned since
she has only been around swords all of her life. Then the old hermit
says "Keep that it will help you on your journey". Alexia smiles
and says "Thank you sir, hopefully this will aid me quite a bit while
traveling among the forests and what ever is beyond, hopefully I can
one day find the truth behind this world...". He bids her away
quickly and after going only a few feet, she starts to turn around to
say goodbye, but the hermit if gone...she wonders to herself if she
will ever see him again...time will tell...
