gone off the deep end!"

to take such an advance in this kind of technology. Not
everything is going to go perfectly every single time!"

"For what we've done so far, I would go so far as to say
that things are coming along nicely. What on earth are
you getting so riled over, anyway?"

"I? I!? I never told you that my daughter was to be
transformed into some crazy mechanical creature! She's a
human being, for the love of God!"

"You forget yourself. I suggest you calm down, and do it
quickly, before you find yourself escorted out of this
laboratory by force. The girl is in no pain, as you can
plainly see."

"Th-that's because she's unconscious! How can anyone tell
what's going on inside her when she's not even in the waking
world?"

"Listen, professor. You gave us the go-ahead to continue
with our research. Reploids are still a new fascination to
many of us, and we've already given you our word, time and
time again that she'll be in no danger, as long as she
cooperates fully with us. If you're having second thoughts,
I'm afraid it's too late for that. We've already begun, and
have no choice but to finish. Do you understand?"

"Good. Now then, enough banter. Let's continue."

"No... you two go ahead for the time being. I have something
I need to take care of in another department, first. I'll
return shortly."

doesn't impede upon ours, I could really care less. Open up
