Arctic - Remembrance

The young girl wandered happily through the Rabite Woods, humming
under her breath. Everything seemed to be going well, and as soon as
Aisu arrived, she would...
Wait, something had happened to Aisu, hadn't it? Something.... bad...
Then she remembered.
The blast of energy cutting through the other girl... The code
dissolving as Aisu screamed in agony... The twist in reality, the
fall...
And her power.
She was not merely Arctic.EXE - She was the lady of Ice and Snow, the
Cold Goddess...
How could she have forgotten this? What could have happened to make
her so confused?
And... it had been almost -nice- to be able to lose her cold for a
while. To be able to forget the pain and just live in peace...
She sighed and shook her head. She couldn't return to the days of
peace. She had been wounded too much by the past. If she returned to
the old days, that pain would just happen again...
But that was enough pondering. She had duties to attend to, after all.
Icy wings burst from her back in a blaze of ice-blue fire, and she
took to the sky, heading back to her fortress of ice with confused,
uncertain thoughts...
