Chaos - Transfer of Power

A figure can be seen traveling through a large forest. Moving pass many
different types of monsters, from giant birds and blobs of goo, up to boss
goblins. None of which seems to have any interest in confronting the
well experienced hunter, as he searches the forest for the strange source
of mana that felt calling him towards it.

Chaos stopped at a cross road of trails. He closed his eyes, and began to
focus on which direction the mana source was pulling him towards. He
turned towards the south and continued his search. Stopping before a
large tree in the middle of the forest, inside the tree, a large crystal
emitting a green aura could be seen resting there, pouring energy into the
ground.

"About time you made it Chaos. I thought that your tracking skills
had become obsolete after so long of a time, even though hylians do tend
to live for a great deal of time."

"Who is there? Show yourself or I won't have any choice but to
ignite the entire area to find you."

Out of the large growth of the forest an old looking hylian emerged.

"I don't remember you being this temper-mental when I trained you
so many years ago. Don't you recognize your old mentor, though I guess
I've changed quite a bit since those times."

"Fewa? Is that you? My god, you're no longer a reploid, but flesh and
blood how did this happen?"

"I used a small fragment of one of the mana stones, which made it
possible. But that isn't why I'm here. The balance of mana is in danger
from the koopa's that have invaded Truce."

Chaos began to think about all the news that he had heard about the fall
of Truce to a large army.

"I heard about that, though I figured it was none of my business. I
hardly ever visited Truce anymore. What do you need from me?"

Fewa moved towards his much younger, but at the same time, greatly
skilled old apprentice.

"I feel that my powers won't be strong enough to defeat the powers
of the koopa army. I've also been having visions of my destruction,
which I can't have come to pass. I believe that the only way to stop this
evil, is to give all my strength and powers to someone that would make
good use of them, and become strong enough to stop my premonitions
from coming true, and I believe that someone is you, Chaos."

Chaos slowly moved away from Fewa at the news that he may be given
the power of his mentor and friend.

"What would become of you?"

"My spirit and memories would become apart of you. All knowledge
that I have gained over my life, will be passed onto you. Once that has
happened, my physical form would cease to exist."

"So you want me to take all that you are and put into me, but at the
same time lose you forever? If I agreed to this, what would become of
my spirit?"

"Nothing, you will still be the same person you have always been,
just containing the power that I once processed to use. I have some allies
as well, that will aid you, so you won't be alone in this conquest. Please
Chaos, you have to do this, there is no one else that I would trust with
my powers than you. If not for the sake of the world, then do it for me,
as a request from a friend."

Chaos stood there for the longest time, contemplating the decision that
was before him. After a few long minutes of deep thought, Chaos finally
nodded in agreement to the request. A smile spread across Fewa's
mouth.

Fewa began gathering all the energy he could muster from the nature
surrounding him, charging a great bright green aura. Fewa moved
towards Chaos and placed his hands overtop his chest plate, and began
channeling his aura into Chaos. The aura began to subside, then
suddenly exploded once again, and continuing to flow into Chaos, as
Fewa's physical form began to disappear. Before the last of his body
faded away into the large transfer of aura to Chaos, Fewa mouthed the
words 'Thank You', then completely vanished from the very spot he was
standing.

Chaos' body began to emit a great deal of energy in the form of small
lightning bolts jumping around him. He picked up the crystal, and stared
into it, thinking about all he now knew about the mana flow, and the
threat of the koopa invasion.

"No longer am I the Bringer of Death. I am greater then I could ever
be. From now on, I am Chaos Elementos!"
