Chaos - Return Or Destruction

Deep within the Castle of Runes, not far from the town of Truce, a lone
figure can be seen, sitting in front of the mana crystals, concentrating on
his resent loss.

"Damnit, how could I have lost? Why did I hold back so much
against him, my powers along with Fewa's should of been plenty to
defeat him, but why didn't I release all of it against him?"

Chaos continues to search for the answer within him.

"Could it be that Fewa's gentle nature has affected my
aggressiveness? I don't seem to relish in the challenge of combat as
much as I did before we merged, though if that was true, then why
would Fewa suggested such a concept, combining together was suppose
to make me far more powerful, but what good is power if you no longer
have the state of mind to use it?"

"I agree with you, what good is this power to you?"

Chaos jumps to his feet out of alarm at a strange voice coming from the
shadows behind the fire crystal.

"Who is there, and how did you get in here?"

From the shadow a familiar male visage appeared, that of a long time
friend.

"Fewa is that you? But how, I can still feel your soul in me?"

Stunned by the sudden appearance of the visitor, Chaos begun to have a
more focused look at the person resembling Fewa standing before him.
Through Chaos' enhanced Hylian vision he noticed that instead of the
warm golden colored aura that usually surrounded his old friend that this
being had an extremely dark and sinister aura.

"Who are you, you can't be Fewa, there was no darkness in him, but
you're shrouded in it."

Chaos states as he withdraws his blade Langrisser from its sheath and
prepares to do battle.

"I am Fewa, just not your Fewa, you should know by now that this
world is made up of many different dimensions. It has taken me a very
long time and a great deal of power to come to this place, a place that is
always growing, and providing me with new souls to use as my own.
But that is enough idle chattering, I think I'll begin my reign of
destruction with you."

Chaos began charging towards the dark Fewa, looking to impale him on
his blade, but the visitor easily evaded the thrust. Chaos turned to his
enemy and started calling up his mana to launch an attack.

"DARK BARRIER!"
"BLIZZARA!"

As Chaos launched a multitude of ice shards, a strange dark colored
barrier formed around him as the shards harmlessly bounced off the
barrier and into the ground. Chaos then launched himself into the air,
only to be stopped half way up by the same barrier, it wasn't like the
ones he was use to that provided protection, instead this one was
focused around him and alter to become some sort of prison.

*chuckle*"It seems that you fell right into my trap, how unfortunate
for you, now lets see how much power that soul of yours contains.
SOUL ABSORB!"

Fewa launched his arms towards Chaos and a column of a ghostly cyan
colored energy launched towards the trapped hunter striking him in the
chest.

"AAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!"

A wave of dark blue energy began to channel its way from Chaos into
his attacker, draining him while strengthens the dark figure. The sparks
that would jump around Chaos' body had begun disappeared as the
column of cyan energy finally sent the last of the blue energy into Fewa.

"Well it seems that my journey to this place had taken a greater toll on
me then I thought. I was only able to absorb the soul of the Fewa from
this realm since that soul wasn't originally apart of your body, it was less
protected against my powers, but you're soul seems to be much stronger
then what I am capable of obtaining, no matter, I'll just have to get
stronger and finish the job once I'm ready. Enjoy your prison, it isn't
permanent but it will last for quite some time, till I see you again,
Chaos"

With that the dark Fewa walked past the now crippled with pain Chaos,
trapped inside of his barrier prison, only able to watch as his attacker
leaves with the only thing remaining of his one time mentor. A rage
began to build within Chaos, as he released a great deal of energy
shattering the prison that held him.

"I'll get you, it is time for the Bringer of Death to retur...."

With that, Chaos passes out from the drain of both magical and physical
energy.
